Owner Spotlight: Darrell Alexander

I’m Darrell Alexander, a mortgage broker in association with Mortgage Design Group Inc. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

From a young age, I always had a knack for numbers and genuinely enjoyed helping people. After completing my education, I acquired a background in business and finance. This allowed me to transition seamlessly into mortgage brokerage in 2017. 

My many business connections, membership to the Rotary Club of Lethbridge since 1991, and varied experience have enabled me to offer valuable assistance to my clients in a very complex environment. 

Over the past year, I have managed to continue to offer my services through the pandemic, which has brought interest rates to a record low and put business at an all-time high. I find my services are needed now more than ever given the market conditions and continue to serve clients to the best of my ability.

The part of my business that I most enjoy is when people trust me to solve their mortgage situations. The moment it all comes together, and I see the look of relief on my client’s face truly makes it worth all the struggle and effort.

I run my business based on the philosophy of working hard and learning every day. I also try to take the high road, build long-lasting connections and friendships with my clients.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is the honesty, efficiency, and integrity I operate.

I attribute my success to my many years of experience in business and finance, drive, and excellent connection with my community. 

Helping people with their mortgages and finding solutions for my clients when they think all hope is lost has given me immense satisfaction over the years and continues to be a source of inspiration.

When I am not at work, I enjoy participating in Rotary Club activities and love the outdoors. I also like hiking, golfing, barbecuing, and I am most of all a proud parent.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things that matter to me and how they influence my business.
